Criteria for One-on-One Mentoring

Protégées
Applicants who can meet the following criteria are screened to determine if they are ready for expansion and to assess their expectations of the program and fit with potential mentors:
✔ A woman business owner?
✔ Ready to make your business grow?
✔ Willing to commit to an average of three      hours' mentoring per month?
✔ Willing to attend 10 evening workshop      sessions in one year?
✔ Prepared to meet and work with a group of      outstanding women entrepreneurs?’

Mentors
Mentors volunteer their time for one year. The commitment involves a minimum of three hours per month. Every effort is made to find high-profile mentors who will serve as role models. Mentors are women who:
✔ Are founders and/or CEOs of their own      businesses
✔ Have been in business for many years and      have successfully expanded their businesses      and are willing to participate in a mentoring      relationship for a minimum of one year
✔Are committed to providing an average of      three hours per month for mentoring      sessions, over and above the group                                                                                     workshops
✔ Draw on their own experience to help protégées
✔ Understand their protégée’s business but will likely be in a different industry
