Organization of Women in International Trade – Toronto
OWIT-Toronto is a non-profit professional organization designed to promote women doing business internationally by providing networking opportunities, export education and global business contacts. Members of the first Canadian chapter of this international organization include women exporters and importers, service providers and government representatives involved in trade. OWIT also has a chapter in Alberta.
Talented Women
This international online community provides support and inspiration for women in business, giving them the courage to take the risks to succeed. Its activities include networking events and a newsletter.
Women Entrepreneurs of Canada
Step Ahead is part of WEC’s national Community of Interest. Founded in 1992, WEC is a not-for-profit forum
for women business owners to "Think Big!" about growth and expansion – from start-up and beyond. WEC initiatives – from research to educational materials – have shifted traditional thinking about women owned businesses.
Wings Canada
An organization with chapters throughout southern Ontario, Wings brings experienced businesswomen
together with those new to business in a comfortable, non-intimidating atmosphere. It offers networking meetings, trade shows, events and promotion of women-owned businesses on its Communications/Referral site.
